Races

Humans

Humans are the dominant race in Oasis.

Half-elves

Half-elves number slightly less than humans, and intermix so frequently that the lines are sometimes blurred.

Elves

Once proud masters of the woodlands, they have been reduced to squatters and impoverished refugees on the outskirts of Oasis.

Dwarves

No one knows much about the dwarves, except that they bring fine metal wares to trade, and are fierce combatants when provoked.

Wemics

Fiercely proud nomads from the steppes and scrublands, very few come within the city walls of Oasis. Those that do are given a wide berth, and generally don’t stay too long.

Minotaurs

Only recently discovered by the citizens of Oasis. Virtually nothing is commonly known about them.

Cameltaurs

These mystical nomads can disappear into the endless wastes for weeks at a time, only to reappear as if no time had passed at all. Reclusive and withdrawn, they only visit Oasis when they are in need of supplies.

Gnolls

Fierce, brutal raiders from the hills, the Gnolls are a scourge to trade and travel. Any merchant traveling without escort beware: you are most likely headed on a one-way trip to sacrifice.
